Elon Musk offered to pay Ashley St. Clair a hefty sum to keep their child a secret.

According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, the Tesla founder, 53, offered to pay the 26-year-old influencer a one-time payment of $15 million, as well as $100,000 a month in support, to keep quiet about their infant son.

A source close to St. Clair confirmed with PEOPLE that Musk offered St. Clair the money in exchange for her silence about the child. The insider can also confirm that similar agreements had been negotiated with other mothers of Musk’s children.

A representative for Musk did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
